Recently, the flowers of lotus in South Lake Park blossom have been blooming, attracting tourists to watch. The location of Tangshan South Lake Park was once abandoned by coal mining, with sewage flowing across the ground. Since 1996, Tangshan has begun to comprehensively control the subsidence of coal mining in South Lake Park. After unremitting efforts, the former "industrial sore" has become a scenic area with a water area of 11.5 square kilometers and a green area of 16 square kilometers.
