Overseas Tour Exhibition (Tokyo Stop) of Qiu Bin’s Works Opened 2018-09-25

On the afternoon of September 11, the overseas tour exhibition (Tokyo stop) of Qiu Bin’s works opened in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The exhibition attracted many lovers of calligraphy and painting from all over the world.

The 28 exquisite works exhibited in this exhibition were selected from more than 200 works created by Qiu Bin in the past six months. The works depict the changes of the 24th solar terms in spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each painting shows a solar term and is equipped with different seals. Each exhibition is a poem, a book, a painting, and a print. China’s solar terms are a comprehensive manifestation of Chinese culture, just as the indirect couple inscribed by Professor Li Yanbin of  Art College of Hebei University, “One poem, one book, one painting, and one season, one term, one signet.” Qiu Bin brings the beauty found in the change of four seasons and the solar terms to the works, and displays Chinese poetry, calligraphy, engraving and many other Chinese cultural elements in the painting, which also remind people to cherish the time and grasp the beauty of the moment and the people around you.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Qiu Bin exchanged works with a Japanese artist. The two artists promoted cultural exchanges between China and Japan and enhanced their friendship.
The exhibition was hosted by Tangshan Art Museum, Tangshan Borun Art Center, Tangshan Association of Artists, Tangshan Municipal Association of Painting and Calligraphy, and Tangshan Painting Institute, and undertaken by Riye International Co., Ltd.
