Tangshan People’s Hospital, founded in 1943, and is characterized by tumor treatment. It is a large-scale Class-A tertiary general hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, rehabilitation, health management and community health services. In 2023, the hospital covered an area of 45,100 m2 and had a building area of 71,000 m2. There were 2,237 registered employees, including 2,026 health technicians. Among them, there were 514 people with senior technical titles, 526 doctors and masters, and 34 master’s supervisors. The city’s first national training base for intravenous ports was established in this hospital. The Department of Clinical Nutrition was upgraded to a national pilot unit.
