The Innovation and Development (Tangshan) Conference of Electronic Materials Industry of China (2023) & The 2nd Exhibition of Electronic New Materials and High-end Equipment and Instruments of China convened on July 6 in Tanghshan. About 700 people, including Zhu Shining, an academician with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Li Wei, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Tan Runhua, a foreign academician with the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Li Songjun, a foreign academician with the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering of Ukraine, and other experts and scholars, as well as head of the association, representatives of outstanding enterprises and institutions in China's industry of electronic materials, gathered in Tangshan to focus on key areas of the industry and the development direction of new materials to discuss its trend and technologies with a view to promoting the high-quality development. At the opening ceremony, 7 projects, with a total investment of ￥48.39 billion were signed on the spot, and the Association of China Electronic Materials signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Municipal Bureau of Commerce at the same time.

   Tangshan has vigorously promoted the transformation and upgrading of traditional advantageous industries, with an active introduction and development of key strategic and cutting-edge new materials in recent years. As of 2022, we have 134 new material enterprises in the city, with the added value above designated size increasing by 9.5%, and the operating revenue of ￥1,397.1 billion.
