From January to September, the construction investment of Tangshan Port reached 2.317 billion yuan, the planned continuation projects completed 1.294 billion yuan and the unplanned projects completed 1.022 billion yuan. Among them, the 200000 ton waterway project in Dock One in the central area of Caofeidian Port has been put into trial operation; The multi-purpose berth project of the Dock Two in the eastern area of Caofeidian Port, Tangshan Port has been completed and accepted; The No. 7 and No. 8 general berth project in Dock Three in the east area of Caofeidian Port, Tangshan Port, is expected to be completed by the end of the year. A handling capacity of 3.6 million tons has been added so far, with that of 2.6 million tons in logs and forest products, and 100,000 TEUs in containers.
As of the end of September, 481 domestic trade routes and 134 foreign trade routes have been completed.Since the beginning of this year, four inland ports have been developed and constructed in Zhangjiakou, Ordos in Inner Mongolia, Hami in Xinjiang, and Yinchuan, Ningxia.
