The No.51 and 52 bulk cargo berths project in Jingtang Harbour Area Tangshan Port was  approved recently by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, becoming the first 300,000-ton berth project in Jingtang Harbor since its establishment.

It is reported that the construction site of the No. 51 and No. 52 bulk cargo berths project in Jingtang Harbor Area is located in the eastern section of the north bank of the fourth harbor pool in Jingtang Harbor Area. It is planned to build two 300000 ton bulk cargo berths and corresponding supporting facilities, with a berth length of 826 meters and a designed annual throughput capacity of 25.6 million tons. The main types of cargo to be unloaded are metal ores such as iron ore and nickel ore. As a major national project, this project has been included in important national plans such as "Modern comprehensive transportation system for 14th Five-Year Plan".

After the completion of this project, it will improve the receiving and unloading capacity of large ships in the Jingtang Harbor area, promote the centralized layout of dry bulk cargo operations in the harbor area. Meanwhile, it will further optimize and improve the collection and distribution system, increase the proportion of green bulk cargo distribution and help Tangshan Port to build a comprehensive trade port.
