On July 16, the maiden voyage of Hede Shipping South China-US West Coast Express Service under TSPI GROUP CO. of Hebei Port Group was successfully launched at Terminal 1 of Nansha Port in Guangzhou Port. This marks Hede Shipping's successful opening of the first point-to-point direct premium express line from Guangzhou Nansha Port to the Port of Los Angeles in the United States.
As a shipping enterprise nurtured locally in Tangshan City, Hede Shipping has grown into the largest operating entity of foreign trade container routes in Hebei Province, currently ranking 25th in global liner shipping company capacity rankings. In recent years, Hede Shipping has continuously intensified its route layout: domestic shipping routes cover major coastal and Yangtze River ports across China, while foreign trade routes reach over 20 ports in more than 10 countries and regions including Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, India-Pakistan, and the US West.
Hede Shipping has deployed 5 vessels on the South China-US West Express Line, operating on a weekly schedule (every Wednesday) with an express service mode. The journey from Guangzhou Nansha Port to the Port of Los Angeles takes only 14 days, shortening the transportation time by one week compared to traditional routes. Hede Shipping, in collaboration with the originating port Terminal 1 of Guangzhou Nansha Port, provides a VIP gate entry channel for cross-border e-commerce vehicles, offering ample and flexible port opening/closing and entry time from Wednesday to the following Tuesday (a total of 7 days). This greatly facilitates customers' cargo collection and ensures smooth loading of containers. At the destination port, the WBCT Terminal of the Port of Los Angeles provides exclusive berths, dedicated gates, and "double waiver" appointment service for container pickup and return.
Hede Shipping is fully supporting Tangshan Port in building a regional container shipping hub. It continuously expand its route system, establishing a "Maritime Shuttle Bus" feeder network centered on Jingtang Port and connecting the three ports and four areas in Hebei. The frequency of routes to East China has been increased to once every 2 days, and routes to South China have been upgraded to once every 1-2 days. Meanwhile, all domestic trade routes are qualified for combined domestic and foreign trade shipping. Cargo from the heartland can be transshipped to major global ports via Shanghai Port and Guangzhou Port, promoting the expansion of port service functions from near-sea to ocean-going shipping.
