Tangshan's Imports and Exports exceed 110 Billion Yuan in First Ten Months of 2025

According to Tangshan Customs, from January to October in 2025, the total value of Tangshan's foreign trade imports and exports reached 110.53 billion yuan, accounting for 20.3% of Hebei Province’s total. The overall import and export trend has remained stable and positive during this period. The city's total import and export value was 12.73 billion yuan in October, reflecting a growth of 5.7%.

General trade maintained a dominant position, while bonded logistics showed rapid growth. Imports and exports under general trade amounted to 96.25 billion yuan, accounting for 87.1% of the total. In contrast, imports and exports through bonded warehousing reached 12 billion yuan, marking a significant increase of 40.3%.

The private enterprises continued to serve as the largest operator to foreign trade. Their import and export value totaled 72.04 billion yuan, growing by 4.3% and accounting for 65.2% of the city's total.

Notable achievements were made in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, further strengthening economic and trade cooperation with emerging markets. Imports and exports with Belt and Road partner countries reached 69.53 billion yuan, accounting for 62.9% of the total. Imports and exports with emerging markets in Latin America and Africa amounted to 19.53 billion yuan and 13.67 billion yuan, respectively, with growth rates of 24.4% and 20.1%.

Mechanical and electrical products dominated the export sector, with an export value of 11.05 billion yuan, up by 1.7% and accounting for 33% of the total exports. Exports of textile raw materials, agricultural products, food, and fertilizers reached 1.01 billion yuan, 750 million yuan, 700 million yuan, and 430 million yuan, respectively, showing growth rates of 2.9%, 5.3%, 5.9%, and 70.1%.

The imports of bauxite and copper ore led in growth rates. Bauxite imports amounted to 8.35 billion yuan, surging by 63.7%, while copper ore imports reached 4.58 billion yuan, increasing by 26.8%. Imports of agricultural products, food, and mechanical and electrical products totaled 4.42 billion yuan, 4.38 billion yuan, and 1.43 billion yuan, with separate growth rates of 15.8%, 15% and 9.7%.
